The rubric behind every score on this site.

The Five Criteria

Every site on PornSites.co is evaluated against the same five criteria, regardless of whether it's an affiliate partner. A site's payout to us has no bearing on where it lands here.

1. Content Quality

Is the content actually good — production value, update frequency, performer variety, and whether the library holds up against category leaders. A site with a small but consistently high-quality library scores better than a large library padded with filler.

2. User Experience

How the site actually feels to use: page load speed, search and filtering, video player quality, and how much friction stands between you and what you came for. Sites that bury content behind excessive upsells or broken navigation lose points here regardless of what's in the library.

3. Pricing Transparency

Whether the advertised price is the price you actually pay. We check for hidden recurring charges, pre-checked upsells at checkout, unclear trial terms, and cancellation friction. A site that's upfront about a higher price beats one that hides a lower price behind dark patterns.

4. Privacy Practices

What the site does with your data, whether billing statements are discreet, and whether the platform has a track record of leaks or breaches. We read the actual privacy policy, not just the marketing page.

5. Mobile Performance

Since most traffic is mobile, we test every site on a phone specifically — not just a shrunk-down desktop view. Sites with a dedicated, responsive mobile experience score higher than ones that just barely function on a small screen.

How Scores Are Calculated

Each criterion is scored independently, then combined into the single rating you see on category and homepage listings. We don't publish a numeric weight breakdown, but no single criterion can carry a site to a high score by itself — a beautifully designed site with predatory billing practices will not rate well here.

What Doesn't Affect the Score

Commission rate, affiliate program tier, or how long we've worked with a site. If a site's product changes for the worse, the rating changes with it — being a longstanding partner buys no protection.

Updates

Ratings are revisited periodically as sites change their pricing, features, or policies. If you notice something on this site that's out of date, let us know and we'll verify and update it.
